An inaugural chili cook-off will be held Sept. 28, 2023, at Pratt Park across from the Doster Center in Prattville.

The event is hosted by the Prattville High School Quarterback Club as a fundraiser. It is anticipated that at least 20 chili teams will compete for the best chili in Prattville, with proceeds going to the PHS Quarterback Club for the football program.

Cook teams can arrive at Noon to set up and start cooking. Tasting will begin at 5 p.m. Judging will begin at 6 p.m. with results announced by 7 p.m.

Tickets to taste all the chili you can eat are $10 and there are various levels of sponsorship for cook teams.
