PAHS Pet of the Week: Meet Patches, A Very Special Cat! June is Adopt A Cat Month

FROM PRATTVILLE AUTAUGA HUMANE SHELTER

We are continuing with cats/kittens for June’s Adopt A Cat Month.  This week’s choice is Patches, a very special cat.

Patches is a 3-year-old, beautiful calico with unusual stunning colors.  She has already been spayed.  Patches was turned into the shelter because her owner was unable to take care of her anymore.  She is declawed (front only).  Patches has a great disposition and would make a great addition to your family since she would be great with other cats and children.  Since she is declawed we will require she be an indoor cat only.

Our adoption fee for dogs is $120.00 and is $50.00 for cats.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.  Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.   The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm except one day each month when we close for staff development.  That date for July has not been chosen yet.

For more information about our shelter, please call 358-2882, find us on Facebook at Prattville/Autauga Humane Society, email autaugahumane@yahoo.com., or visit our website at www.prattvilleautaugahumane.org.

We really appreciate all you do in helping us find homes for these precious pets.

 Sincerely,

Ara Horn
