ELMORE COUNTY ART GUILD
Once again, the Elmore County Art Guild will be showcasing and rewarding the finest artists in our region with their 39th annual art show. This year it will be held at First Community Bank and Trust, Millbrook, Alabama. Show Chairman Shirley Esco says “last year, the Millbrook Art Mill hosted our show, and it was a big success.
On Sunday, February 25th, from 2-4 p.m. the guild will host a reception at the bank and everyone is invited. The show will open on Monday, February 26 during regular business hours and close on Friday, March 1st. Each year dozens of artists from across the area bring their works to be displayed and most of them are for sale. There will be over $2,000 of awards given in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in four categories. Also, a $350 purchase award by numerous businesses and individuals to pick a piece of art of their choice.
