Prattville – It is an annual event and one of the favorite festivals in the River Region. The Prattville Spinners kicked off their two-day festival Saturday. It will continue Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

With rows and rows of vendors, performances, music, food concessions, a kid’s area and drawings for prizes, there is plenty to keep everyone occupied. Some early Christmas shopping can be completed with a visit to this festival.

Spinners Park is located at 390 W. 6th Street, Prattville.

All of the monies raised from the festival go right back into the community through grants to individuals or organizations.

Bob Ealum visited there today and has photos to share. Tomorrow is the presentation of the Spirit of Spinners Award, and the winning ticket will be drawn for the one-of-a-kind handmade quilt created by Spinners’ members. You can buy tickets for the drawing Sunday.
