Prattville Autauga Humane Shelter Pet of the Week is Jack
Jack, a beautiful Black Lab is PAHS Pet of the Week for Nov 6. Also during the month of November adoption fees are $20 for dogs/puppies and $10 for cats/kittens. Hopefully this will help us clear the shelter and find these animals a loving home.
Jack is a 2-year-old male Black Lab who must be neutered before he is adopted. He was brought in as a stray from out in the county; and no one reclaimed him. Jack is as handsome as any dog we have ever seen. He is solid black and his coat is so shiny! Jack weighs 58 pounds so he is a big guy. This big sweetheart LOVES to play fetch; and he never gets tired of it. Jack is an athlete–he loves to run–so he will need a nice big, fenced yard where he can safely play! He would be good with other dogs and older children. Jack is a perfect example of why Labs are such a popular choice for a family dog. He is fun to be around, gets along well with others, and he is both smart and eager to please! Jack already knows the commands–sit, stay, and no. Simply put–Jack is the total package and a totally awesome boy!
Dog/puppy adoption fees are $20 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $10 for the month of November. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
