Weldon Devon Sawyer passed away July 10, 2020 at his residence. He was an active volunteer in the Millbrook area, to include the WELCOME Food Pantry and First United Methodist Church.

Mr. Weldon Devon Sawyer, age 75 and a resident of Millbrook, AL passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home, 3360 Brookside Drive, Millbrook, AL with Rev. Jerry May officiating. Private Entombment at Alabama Heritage Cemetery will follow the services.
He was preceded in death by his wife On Tok Sawyer, parents Claxton Devon & Ruby (Patrick) Sawyer and brothers Joel Sawyer & Kenneth Sawyer. He is survived by his loving family – children Harold (Suni) Sawyer of Millbrook, AL, Angela (Ciaran) Bolger of John’s Creek, GA, Thomas (Jody) Sawyer of Auburn, AL; grandchildren Justin Sawyer, Cathleen Bolger, Liam Bolger, Joshua Sawyer and Ethan Sawyer.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral services. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks are required to come into the building for visitation and celebration of life services.
