Blue Santa Poker Run Hosted by Capital City Punishers LEMC Coming July 25; Benefits Millbrook Police ‘Operation Blue Santa’

BY SARAH STEPHENS

ELMORE/AUTAUGA NEWS

Again this year, the Capital City Punishers LEMC are teaming up with the Millbrook Police Department to raise funds for Operation Blue Santa 2020.

Operation Blue Santa relies on donations from individuals, businesses, churches and more each year to provide Christmas presents for area youth that would otherwise perhaps go without. The Punishers are having a Blue Santa Poker Run to help with this program. The event will be held July 25 but potential participants are asked to sign up as soon as possible.

To receive the donated gifts, families in need can fill out an application that will be available in a couple of months at the Millbrook Police Department. We will have more information on the application process as the time draws near.
