Duke is a 4-month-old male Lab/ Terrier mix. He is chocolate with tan markings and he is quite the handsome guy! Duke will grow up to be a medium sized adult dog who will weigh between 30-60 pounds. He appears a bit sad in his pictures, but we know he will be a happy, bouncing, bundle of joy in his new home. Duke will be great as a family dog because he is good with children and other dogs. He is going to bond quickly with his new family–could it be yours? Duke is currently in a foster home. Our normal adoption fee for dogs is $120.00 and is $50.00 for cats. These fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs”, our dogs have screened heart worm negative. The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville. Due to the COVID-19 virus situation, our staff will be available for phone calls only from 8:00 until 12:00 on Monday thru Saturday. We are not doing adoptions at this time. Many of the PAHS pets are currently in foster homes so anyone interested in adopting needs to call us during the hours listed to set up an appointment to meet the animal they are interested in meeting.
