Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Alabama at 2,328 as of 1:30 p.m.; 48 Deaths Confirmed Related to Virus

As of 1:30 p.m., the Alabama Department of Public Health is reporting 2,328 confirmed COVID-19 cases across the state. A total of 18,982 have been tested. Sixty-six deaths are reported, with 48 of those confirmed as COVID-19 related. They are reporting 314 hospitalizations since March 13, 2020 in Alabama.

The Johns Hopkins University COVID-19 Website reports worldwide deaths from at 85,397, with Recoveries at 315,105.

In the United States, per Johns Hopkins University, there are 13,007 reported deaths thus far, with 22,717 recoveries. Confirmed U.S. Cases as of the latest check is 402,923. (See links below to ADPH and Johns Hopkins University)

Chiton County – 20 cases, 0 deaths

Elmore County – 22 cases, 0 deaths.

Montgomery County – 77 cases, two deaths.

Tallapoosa County – 35 cases, 1 death.
