FROM THE ELMORE COUNTY COMMISSION
The County Commission is reaching out to all elementary and middle school students in the county for help in naming the Elmore County Anti-Litter Critters. Over the next seven weeks, the County Commission will unveil a new critter weekly via Facebook and Twitter. Students will be asked to submit a name for each critter. Each submission must include the student’s first name, grade, school attended, and a name for the critter. All students are encouraged to submit a name for each critter weekly. The Elmore County Commissioners will announce the named critters during a Commission meeting this summer.
The County Commission hopes this anti-litter campaign will be a way to encourage everyone to keep our county litter free.
