DOWN HOME WE CALL IT A “TIZZY”
From Dale Bain

Webster defines “frenzy” as violent agitation. Other definitions call it: Rage (emotion), a feeling of intense anger. I call it “what our country is going through, right now.” Most of the country is also not sure whether it is a real Pandemic, or a political attack against our country, especially out President. Medical professionals are nervous to call it just another “strain” of influenza! Last year alone, influenza killed tens of thousands of people, and not one sport or religios event was canceled, not one rioted to get to the toilet paper off the shelves. This year the mob mentality is disconcerting and it has gotten worse in the last three weeks. Adults who should be in possession of more common sense are instead operating from a position of fear and panic – “frenzy.” There seems to be no logic to their “frenzy.”
No thought to the consequences for the rest of the population is exactly how “irrational fear” works. Most of the messages coming out, while trying to keep us informed, tend to incite fear in people, stir up frenzies, and blame our leaders!
“When we operate from a position of fear and panic, we tend
to make poor decisions, often leaving an economic and emotional
debris trail in our wake. It is solely focused on me and my
survival even though no amount of toilet paper and canned
soup will change anything. Someone once said: “God promises
a safe landing, not a calm passage.” – Cavin Harper.
My sage advice is to “get out of the frenzy,” act normal, take precautions, keep hands and face clean, watch where you go, and QUIT BLAMING OUR AMERICAN LEADERS!
