Kyra has been selected to be our featured pet this week. I hope you are enjoying our cool but nice weather! I will not include the staff training closure date until later in the month.
Kyra is a 2-year-old female Chocolate Lab mix who must be spayed before she is adopted. She has a gorgeous, shiny chocolate coat with white markings on her chest. Kyra weighs 37 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized adult dog. She is well behaved and very sweet. Kyra is affectionate and friendly; and she would be just fine in a home with children and other dogs. She is active and playful so a nice fenced yard would sure be great for her! Kyra can’t wait to start on a new life with a loving family. Could it be yours?
Our normal adoption fee for dogs is $120.00 and is $50.00 for cats. We currently have half price adoption fees on cats and dogs who are one year old and older! As long as funds are available, this special half price fee will be $60.00 for dogs and $25 for cats. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm.
