Old World Industries, LLC chooses Prattville for its next expansion

Old World Industries (OWI) is among the largest privately held companies competing in the automotive
aftermarket. The Northbrook, Illinois-based company enjoys a presence in various consumer product markets
around the world. OWI is a leader in the automotive aftermarket best known for its brands of PEAK®
automotive antifreeze and coolant and BlueDEF® diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), is proud to announce the
expansion of the Prattville, Alabama facility.


The expansion will accommodate additional product lines and delivery options for the southern market. An
additional 24 jobs partnered with a capital investment in excess of $20,000,000 will begin immediately
following selection of Prattville as the next expansion market for OWI.


Prattville Mayor Bill Gillespie Jr. stated, “existing industry is the bedrock to our community and support of our
current companies builds a strong future for Prattville citizens.”


“Our goal is to build on the base of our initial investment in Prattville with new products and technology,”
said Warren Morrow, Chief Operating Officer of OWI. “This will allow us to serve customers with improved
lead times and better distribution costs.”


By producing locally, listening to customers, and following key market trends, OWI aims to introduce product
innovations that meet regional demands through expanding its distribution footprint, packaging capabilities,
and new technologies.
