Central Alabama CrimeStoppers is hosting a Gun Buyback event June 28 at Bryant Missionary Baptist Church.
The address is 3645 Norman Bridge Road in Montgomery. The time is 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
At this event, you can turn in guns anonymously. Firearms must be unloaded with all ammunition separate.
Weapons such as BB guns, air rifles, non-functioning firearms and knives will be accepted, but no compensation will be given.
All firearms will be destroyed.
Participants who surrender guns will receive CASH in the following amounts:
$50 for a rifle or shotgun
$100 for a functioning handgun
$200 for assault style/semi-auto rifle.
