Prattville Police Chief Mark Thompson:
This release in regarding a shooting that occurred Monday near 1449 Hwy. 82
“On 5/19/25 PD responded to the listed location on shots fired subject possible shot. This started around 3:58 p.m. Upon Units arriving at the scene the following was found. Daniel J White stated that Richard A. Robinson shot at him several times with one round striking him in the back head area. The wound was not serious. The incident started over some items allegedly being stolen from White by Robinson. When White confronted Robinson about the property Robinson retrieved what was believed to be a .22 rifle and began firing at White. The case is still under investigation. Charges were filed for Attempted Murder on Robinson with a $60,000.00 bond. Weapon was recovered by investigation and Robinson was taken into custody within minutes of the call going out.”
