Leading the charge in the 6-7A division are the boys’ and girls’ teams from Stanhope Elmore High School, both holding the coveted #1 spot. Their impressive performance throughout the season has set high expectations, and they are determined to maintain their dominance.
Prattville High School’s co-ed team, ranked #2 in the boy’s division, is ready to give their all and challenge the top contenders. With a mix of seasoned players and rising stars, they are a force to be reckoned with.
Opelika High School’s girls’ team, holding the #2 spot, is equally poised for success. Their dedication and teamwork have brought them this far, and they are eager to prove themselves on the regional stage.
In the 1-5A division, Horseshoe Bend High School’s girls’ team stands proudly at #1. Their journey to the top has been marked by hard work and determination, and they are ready to defend their title.
Marbury High School’s girls’ team, ranked #2, is not far behind. Their resilience and competitive spirit have earned them a spot in the playoffs, and they are prepared to give it their all.
On the boys’ side, Beauregard High School holds the #1 position, showcasing their prowess and consistency throughout the season. Marbury High School’s boys’ team, ranked #2, is eager to challenge their rivals and make their mark.
As these exceptional teams head to Vestavia Bowl, the excitement is at an all-time high. The AHSAA South Regional Playoffs kick off Monday, ending Tuesday, while the AHSAA North Regional Playoffs kick off Wednesday, ending Thursday. Four teams from the North and South playoffs will move on to the AHSAA State Championship the following week.
