Stanhope Elmore High School
Millbrook, Alabama — February is Career and Technical Education Month. The Stanhope Elmore High School Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America will join other FBLA chapters nation-wide in celebrating FBLA Week on February 11-17, 2024.
Each day the chapter will sponsor school-wide activities promoting FBLA to raise awareness about the organization’s mission and effectiveness in inspiring and preparing community-minded business leaders. FBLA Chapters world-wide will also participate in activities coordinated by the National FBLA organization emphasizing entrepreneurship, mentorship, networking, and community service.
Activities planned for FBLA Week at Stanhope Elmore High School include:
Monday Mania FBLA Scavenger Hunt, Tacky Tuesday (DO-nut Match), What’s Poppin’ Wednesday Teacher Appreciation, Thriving Thursday Blue/Gold Spirit Day, and Fashion Friday Professional Dress Runway Show featuring the Stanhope hope Elmore High School Superkids.
The Runway show is not open to the public, but tickets are available for students.
Students are also preparing for the FBLA State Leadership Conference to be held in Mobile, Alabama on April 18-19, 2024 in hopes of earning a spot to attend the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida in June 29-July 2, 2024.
Future Business Leaders of America, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) education association with more than 193,000 middle school, high school, and college members worldwide. FBLA inspires and prepares students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences.
