The Montgomery Police Department is investigating a robbery 3rd-degree case and is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

On April 22, 2024, police responded to the 3000 block of McGehee Road, Montgomery, Alabama, in reference to a strong-armed robbery. Investigators say the suspects committed the offense at a local business and left the scene in an unknown direction of travel.

Investigators released a photo of the unknown subjects wanted for the robbery. The suspects are described as two black females. There are no other details available for release at this time.

A person commits the crime of robbery in the third degree if, in the course of committing a theft:

(1) he/she uses force against the person of the owner of the property or any person present with intent to overcome that person’s physical resistance or physical power of resistance; or

(2) he/she threatens the imminent use of force against the person of the owner of the property or any person present with intent to compel acquiescence to the taking of or escaping with the property.
