The Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce had an early morning start to the extra day Thursday morning, celebrating the Leap Day with Kindness for their Leap of Kindness initiative.

The Chamber delivered donuts to Autauga County and the City of Prattville Employees to not only celebrate their hard work for the community but to take advantage of the extra day and to fill it with kind smiles from the Chamber and sugary goodness,

“We are so thankful for everything these men and women do every day. We hope to see others in the community using this day to spread some extra kindness,” Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce marketing and communications director Brook Glover said.

This extra day only comes around every four years, and the Leap of Kindness Day is a way to spread kindness and appreciation, and also inspire others to share a bit of kindness, not only with an extra day every four years, but every day.

“February 29th is an extra day, and the Prattville Chamber was so happy to use the extra day to spread some kindness to our hardworking men and women in Autauga County and the city of Prattville by delivering donuts,” Glover said.
