The Montgomery Police Department is investigating a business robbery and is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

On Saturday, May 13, 2023, police responded to a business located in the 1700 block of Upper Wetumpka Road in reference to a business robbery. Investigators say the suspect, described as a black male, entered the business, produced an unknown type of handgun, and demanded currency.

Montgomery Police Investigator’s released a photo of an unknown subject, wanted for the robbery. The armed suspect, identified as a black male, was seen on video entering the business wearing a blue jacket, black pants, and white tennis shoes. The suspect fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction of travel. There are no other details available for release at this time.
