Our YMCA is proud to staff the Millbrook Senior Center. As you know, we staff it Monday-Friday from 8 A.M. to 3 P.M.
Here are some statistics and facts for the month of October to share about the Senior Center:
Meals served in October—2,011 (945 at the center, 1,066 delivered to home bound seniors)
Average daily attendance at the center—65
Activities–Bingo, Cards, Dominos, Checkers, Scrabble, Line Dancing, made greeting cards, Crochet, Exercise class
A group of 20 or so from the center attended the Master Games in Birmingham on October 19th.
The center held a Fall Festival in the parking lot and Rehab Associates held a fall prevention class at the center on October 27th.
There will be a Thanksgiving lunch at the center on Thursday, November 17th.
