Prattville Creative Arts Center

Save the date for the 3rd annual FREE Pumpkin Decorating class hosted by the Prattauga Art Guild. Kids of all ages are invited to join us on Thursday, October 21st, for a come-and-go outdoor pumpkin painting activity from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Creative Arts Center (342 S. Chestnut). Pumpkin and art supplies will be provided while supplies last. All decorated pumpkins will be displayed at the Parade of Pumpkins in Historic Downtown Prattville thru November 1st. We can’t wait to see all the creative pumpkins!!!

OCTOBER 22 – 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. – SPOOKTACULAR ON MAIN STREET IN PRATTVILLE

Join The Shoppes of Downtown Prattville for the second annual Spooktacular on Main Street as we kick off the Parade of Pumpkins. Visit the many participating shoppes as they offer great sales, giveaways and refreshments. Enjoy live entertainment, haunted window scenes and decorated pumpkins. Grab delicious food or drinks at one of our many restaurants or bars.

OCT. 22-31 – PARADE OF PUMPKINS IN PRATTVILLE – DOWNTOWN PRATTVILLE

Join us for the 3rd Annual Parade of Pumpkins in Historic Downtown Prattville Oct. 22-31. The City will feature carved and decorated pumpkins from our community along with festive storefronts, seasonal displays like the new GLOW trail that will light up and transform Historic Downtown Prattville. OCTOBER 23, 24, 28,29, 30, 31 – FEAR ON GRIER – ALABAMA’S TALLEST SCARECROW

Makes plans to come out to Fear on Grier, and view Alabama’s tallest scarecrow. Grab some candy while you are there.

Dates are Oct. 23 & 30 from 7-10 p.m.; Oct. 24, 28, 29, 31 from 7-9 p.m.

Mark your calendars: The Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the City of Prattville for Artists on Main, scheduled for October 26 from 6:00-8:00 P.M.

This special event is looking for visual artists to create works of art using pumpkins as their canvas (not required). We also welcome musicians, sculptors, weavers, and any other artists who want to showcase their talent to our community!

Artists on Main will occur during the Parade of Pumpkins, so make sure you come out with you and your family to enjoy this FREE festivity. We encourage you to check out the local restaurants and shops to make it a fun night!

A Fall Festival will be held at the Prattville High School Baseball Field, 1315 Upper Kingston Road in Prattville. This is for all ages and will have free games, a haunted maze, fun prizes and a Halloween Movie on the Big Screen. There will be a Costume contest for all age groups as well. Admission is Free to six and under; ages 7-12 is $5; 13 and older is $10. ALL PROCEEDS benefit the Prattville Lions Baseball Team.

Journey Church, located at 435 Sheila Blvd. in Prattville will host their Fallapalooza event. There will be multiple games, tons of candy, hot dogs, pony rides and a petting zoo. Everything is FREE. Invite the entire neighborhood. Wear  your favorite costume and make plans to join us.

OCTOBER 31 – 3:30 TO 5:30 P.M. – Spirit walk Ministries Trunk or Treat

Spirit Walk Ministries, located at 1908 County Road 107 in Prattville, will host a free Trunk or Treat event. The first 100 kids get a free goodie back.

Millbrook Baptist Church will host their Fall Festival with candy, games and family fun from 6-8 p.m. The church is located at 3431 Browns Road, Millbrook.

OCTOBER 31 FROM 3 TO 6 P.M. – Calvary Baptist Church Trunk or Treat

Calvary Baptist Church of Prattville will host a Trunk or Treat event on Halloween from 3 to 6 p.m. The church is located at 431 W. Fourth Street.

OCTOBER 31 AT 10 A.M. – REAL LIFE CHURCH FALL DAY

Real Life Church will host Fall Day at 10 a.m. Oct. 31. It will include a Trunk or Treat, food and drinks, face painting, arcade, bounce houses and a youth hangout zone! The church is located at 1834 I-65 Service Road East in Millbrook.

The Edge Boutique of Millbrook and Ziegler Farms team up for this event located at 3451 Main Street in Millbrook.

NOVEMBER 4-7 – MULTIPLE EVENTS IN WETUMPKA

Head over to Wetumpka for extended business hours, deals and seasonal specials for the Downtown Holiday Open House. The last Community Market and Art Walk of the year will be on Thursday and Friday.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 13 – 2 TO 6 P.M. – FALL GAMES FESTIVAL

River Region Church of the Nazarene will host their Fall Games Festival at 3251 Browns Road in Millbrook. This is the inaugural event. Join them for a family friendly afternoon of sports, games, crafts and smoked BBQ. All activities will be for all ages and open participation for all. There will also be a Corn Hole tournament. Get a team together and practice for a chance to win prizes and claim the first place title. Sign ups will be the day of between 2-3 p.m.

NOVEMBER 13 – 9 A.M. – Millbrook 17 Springs Art, Beats & Eats at Village Green

Art! Music! Food! Door Prizes! All at Village Green. Come to the inaugural 2021 festival. There will be artists from across the region as well as great music, delicious eats from a variety of local food trucks. Admission is FREE. Vendor spaces available. NOVEMBER 21, 2021 – WETUMPKA HOLIDAY MARKET AT COACHES CORNER PARKING LOT

Alabama Backs the Blue will host a Holiday Market in the Coaches Corner Parking Lot in Wetumpka from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

DEC 2 – DEC. 4 – MILLBROOK SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING AND PARADE

March of the Toy Soldiers is the theme for this year’s Christmas event in Millbrook. Dec. 2 come to Village Green Park at 6 p.m. for the annual tree lighting event. There will be caroling, concessions, live entertainment. And we hear it is going to SNOW!

Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. is the Festival Village Green Park with loads of concessions, vendors, live entertainment and activities. Come have your child’s photo taken FREE with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus in the pavilion, courtesy of Valley Bank and Chrietzberg Photography. 

Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. – The annual Christmas parade will roll from Smokehouse Barbecue north on Main Street to the old City Hall. Get their early for a good spot, and prepare to catch a lot of candy. Rabbit Culver is the Grand Marshall. 

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 12 – 2 TO 4 P.M. – COOKIES WITH SANTA

Join the Party Palace at Bon Appetit on Dec. 12 to meet Santa, Mrs. Clause and many other characters. This is a FREE event. Location is 5090 Main Street Millbrook.

 DECEMBER 18, 2021 9 A.M. TO 7 P.M. – CHRISTMAS AT THE COTTAGE IN WETUMPKA

Join Hensley Creek Candles for our 1st annual Christmas at The Cottage event. We will have cookies & pictures with Santa & the Grinch. Guest appearance by the Wetumpka famous Griswolds.

No fee to enter, however for anyone wanting to donate in the spirit of Christmas, we will have boxes at the front door for collection that will be made to the Elmore County Food Bank, just in time to help provide meals for our local families in need.

Two vintage trucks for even more holiday picture fun. Gift wrapping on the porch for a really amazing cause. This will be one of the biggest shopping events of the year. All of our in store vendors will have everything you could possibly want to wrap up your holiday shopping lists. Hot chocolate & mulled cider available as well.
