ALABAMA BACKS THE BLUE NONPROFIT
You may be wondering why we are posting a picture taken with a refrigerator. The truth is, what this picture really represents is community coming together to support our Law Enforcement. They deserve to have working equipment whether it be an item on their gun belt or something as simple as a refrigerator to keep their lunch or drinks cold. We want to say THANK YOU to Wetumpka Window Tinting (The Steele Family) for donating this brand new refrigerator to our local Wetumpka Police Department.
Back story: Alabama Backs The Blue (ABB) was contacted by 1:1 Foundation expressing the need for this equipment. ABB immediately posted to their private fb group of nearly 1000 Law Enforcement supporters, asking for help.
Within 30 minutes, the Steele family sent ABB Founder Jessica Colley a private message saying “Take that post down, we are looking at new refrigerators now.” It was delivered a few days later.
Alabama Backs The Blue is a new nonprofit in the area and wants our local Law Enforcement to know, this is what we are here for, to make sure their needs are being met. We partner with other nonprofits such as 1:1 Foundation and other Law Enforcement supporters. We rely on donors like Wetumpka Window Tinting to help us meet these needs.
