Come and help us put a Vietnam Veteran back on his motorcycle for some wind therapy. If you don’t have a bike you can still come. It will be a beautiful ride and for a wonderful man who just wants a chance to drive his own motorcycle again.
It won’t be an all-day affair, just a great ride on hopefully a beautiful day, a stop for lunch and hopefully another small surprise to brighten the lives of other veterans (that part is still in the works and more info to come.)
This Wind Therapy Ride is to help a Veteran who has been struggling with cancer and just wants to get on his bike again. This ride will raise money to cover the cost of a trike kit modification to his bike. Any monies raised over that cost will be donated to the morale fund for the Bill Nichols State Veterans Home residents.
Registration is Aug. 1, 2020 from 9-11 a.m. at Harley Davidson of Montgomery. Kickstands Up at 11 a.m.
