PAHS Pet of the Week: Meet Raven! Frisky and Funny, She Would Like a Nice, Fenced Yard

Raven has one blue and one brown eye!

Our featured pet this week is Raven.  We really hope she will be able to find a home with your help since this sweet dog has been there with us much too long – -we don’t know why.

Raven is a 2-year-old female Terrier mix who has already been spayed.  She came to PAHS as a stray and her owner never reclaimed her.  Raven is a very pretty lady whose short coat is brown with black markings and highlights.  There is just a bit of white on her chest.  She has one blue eye and one brown.  Raven currently weighs 47 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized adult dog.  She is frisky as can be and would greatly appreciate a nice fenced yard where she could safely play.  Raven will be just fine in a home with other dogs and children.  Her playful antics will keep your children entertained for hours!  Raven is leash trained and ready to be a family dog for some lucky adopter!  Please come out and meet our beautiful and sweet Raven; she is so ready to have a “furever” home.

Our adoption fee for dogs is $120.00 and is $50.00 for cats.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.  Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.   The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm.  We do close one day each month for staff development.  That date will be chosen soon for July.  For more information about our shelter, please call 358-2882, find us on Facebook at Prattville/Autauga Humane Society, email, or visit our website at

Thank you for your help in featuring these pets to the public.
