Herschell Weldon, 87, of Prattville, Alabama
passed away May 27, 2020 in Wetumpka, Alabama.
He was born April 13, 1933 in Billingsley, Alabama, son of Johnnie Dalton
Weldon and Byrd Weldon.
He sold vegetables at the Farmer’s Market.
Surviving are his daughter, Diannia (Steve) Collier; son, Warren (Colleen)
Woodruff; daughter, Mabel (Lloyd) Jinright; daughter, Frankie Armstrong;
daughter, Dana (Bryan) Broome; son, Timothy Ford, Sr.; grandsons, Travis Byrum,
Chuck Collier, Jeremy Woodruff, Kenny Owens, Timothy Ford, Jr., Jeffrey Ford;
granddaughters, Stephanie Byrum, Donna Cason, Jenn Grelk, Leeann Williams,
Tiffany Whatley, Alyshia Lawrence, Stephanie Edwards, Emily Hudson; numerous
great-grandchildren and great-great-Grandchildren; nieces, Becky Willis,
Patricia Chiles; numerous family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Dalton Weldon; mother, Byrd
Weldon; wife, Dolly R. Weldon; daughters, Debbie Williams, Ellen Thames; and
sister, Dot McCord.
Friends will be received Saturday, May 30, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
at White Pond Cemetery.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at White
Pond Cemetery in White City, Alabama.
