State Disaster Relief Communication Training will be conducted March 8, 2020 at the Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief Center in Autauga County.
This is no cost for the training. Training cost is covered through the Myers-Mallory State Missions Offering. This training is very worth-while and highly recommended.
I attended this two years ago and the instructors are well-informed and the information is vital and timely.
New volunteers have to pay for their background check ($10.00) and their new badge ($10.00). The background check is non-invasive and nothing like what the American Red Cross was requiring several years ago.
The Disaster Relief Center is located @ 118 Jesse Samuel Hunt Blvd, Prattville, AL 36066
Go to I-65 Exit 186. Go north on US Hwy 31 N approximately 1 mile. Turn right on Jesse Samuel Hunt Blvd and drive 4/10 of a mile. Go to the end of the road (cul-de-sac).
