A New Lions Club in the Millbrook Area

Thank you for your interest in the New Lions Club coming to the area!
All community service minded individuals are invited to attend an informational meeting this Wednesday, December 18 at noon, at Habanero’s Restaurant to discuss the formation of the club. As this will be a ‘lunch hour’ meeting, we will begin at noon and will conclude by 12:50. Please stop by for what time you may have. A “Dutch Lunch” will be available for those who would like to have lunch.
Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest Service club organization with more than 1.45 million members in more than 46,000 clubs in 210 Countries. The Lions’ motto is “We Serve.”
Lions are most widely known for their service work with the vision impaired, providing eye examinations, glasses, and surgeries to those who are in need, but may be unable to pay. Additional core areas of Service include Diabetes concerns, Children’s Cancer needs, feeding the Hungry, Environmental projects and Disaster Relief.
