PAHS Pet of the Week: Meet Daisy! Sweet as Sugar and a Very Calm Dog

FROM PAHS – PRATTVILLE AUTAUGA ANIMAL SHELTER

We have chosen Daisy to be our featured pet this week.

Daisy is a 2-year-old female Pointer/Bulldog mix who must be spayed before she is adopted.  She came to PAHS as a stray who had puppies.  Unfortunately, only one of Daisy’s pups survived–Puddles; and she has recently been adopted.  Now it’s mom’s turn to find a great home!

Daisy is white with brown markings and she is a pretty lady!  She only weighs 33 pounds so she isn’t a real big girl.  Daisy is well socialized with both dogs and children and she would be fine in a home with either or both.  Daisy is sweet as sugar and a calm girl.  We really love this sweet dog.  She has been through so much and truly deserves a better life than she has had.  If you think Daisy is the one for you, please come meet her soon.

Our adoption fee is $120 for dogs and $50 for cats.  This fee covers a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.  Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.

The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville.  Our regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm.  We do close one day each month for staff training which will be on December 30th this month.

Our closure dates for the holidays are scheduled as follows:  December 24th, 25th, and January 1st .  Adoptions are currently by appointment only.   For more information about our shelter, please call 358-2882, find us on Facebook at Prattville/Autauga Humane Society, email [email protected]., or visit our website at www.prattvilleautaugahumane.org.

We really appreciate all you do in helping these wonderful pets.

Sincerely,

Ara Horn
