PAHS PET OF THE WEEK: Meet Teddy! 6-Month-Old Male Heeler Who Has been Neutered

FROM PRATVILLE ANIMAL HUMANE SOCIETY

Teddy is a 6-month-old male Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) mix who has already been neutered.  He came to PAHS as an owner turn in when he is owner could no longer take care of him.  Teddy is light tan with gorgeous white markings on his paws and the back of his neck.

This is a very handsome young dog who currently weighs 37 pounds and is considered to be a medium sized dog.  Teddy is active, playful, and would certainly appreciate a nice fenced yard where he could safely play.  He is also friendly with both children and other dogs.  We think Teddy would make an outstanding family dog.  He is ready for a new chance at life with a loving family and a home of his very own.

Our adoption fee is $120.00 for dogs and $50.00 for cats.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.  Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.

The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville.  Our regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm.   We do close one day each month for staff training.  That date in September will be announced later.

Adoptions are currently by appointment only.   For more information about our shelter,  please call 358-2882, find us on Facebook at Prattville/Autauga Humane Society, email [email protected]., or visit our website at www.prattvilleautaugahumane.org.
