ECLECTIC, AL – This morning residents of the Town of Eclectic, officials from throughout Elmore County and the Pep Band of Elmore County High School helped celebrate a big day in town with the opening of Jack’s Restaurant.

It was a huge, excited crowd that showed up, with many so glad to see progress in their community, and the offering of another place to eat out. The restaurant is located at 1930 Kowaliga Road in Eclectic.

The first 50 customers today were given free breakfast for one month!

Eclectic Mayor Gary Davenport welcomed the audience right after the ribbon cutting. He said this day was a very long time coming, and he wished nothing but success to the new business and its employees.

“It is a wonderful, great day here in Eclectic, Alabama,” Mayor Davenport said. He thanked many people and organizations that worked to make the day possible. “We have been working on this for at least four-and-a-half years steadily now. It is one of those things we could not have done without a lot of support.”

Jessica Hoagland made the announcement of a new program for Main Street Eclectic. Some of the Main Street Eclectic board members, as well as state members, were also in attendance to show their support at the opening.

“We are excited to open another location in Elmore County and plant our Southern roots in the town of Eclectic,” said Jack’s Family Restaurants CEO Todd Bartmess, in an earlier release. “Our brand was born in Alabama so we are thrilled to expand in our home state.”

Jack’s is famously known for their made-from-scratch biscuits, hand-breaded chicken and made-to-order burgers. The ‘All About the South’ brand prides themselves on preparing quality food served by smiling faces and friendly service.

Sabrina Sneed is the General Manager for the Eclectic Jack’s, and she is serious about the friendly atmosphere and good food she expects the entire crew to provide in Eclectic.

“I am excited to be in the Town of Eclectic. This has been an experience for me, trying to open up this store and get a bunch of jobs out there for assistant managers and crew members. You have come in and welcomed us, and we greatly appreciate that. I am from Chilton County, so coming to a new county has been exciting. You guys have not disappointed us, you welcomed us in, and it is truly a blessing.”

Sneed said Jack’s brand is about good food and southern hospitality. She encouraged residents from the Eclectic area to come by and visit her store.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, members of the Pep Band from Elmore County High School performed several pieces for the large crowd. It was great to see the community support, and genuine excitement for a new venture in the town.
