MILLBROOK, AL (February 7, 2024) – The Prattville-Millbrook Sunrise Rotary Club is pleased to announce the following recipients of their 2024 Grant Process. Funding for these grants are made possible through the generous support of sponsors of their annual Waffle Cook-off, held in December, along with “brags” given by Club members during weekly Club meetings.

Through these efforts, the Prattville-Millbrook Sunrise Rotary Club is able to provide funding to organizations that are committed to improving the lives of children in Autauga and Elmore counties. This year, we are pleased to support the following organizations:

• Alabama Wildlife Federation
• Autauga Interfaith Care Center
• Autauga Water Festival
• Butterfly Bridge Children’s Advocacy Center
• Family Support Center
• Grandview Family YMCA
• J.F. Ingram State Technical College Foundation
• MAX4Kids Foundation
• One Community Outreach United
• Prattville YMCA
• Spirit Horse Therapeutic Riding Center
• Tukabatchee Area Council, Boy Scouts of America
• W.E.L.C.O.M.E. Food Pantry
• Youth Leadership Autauga County

On February 26th at 7:00 am, we look forward to recognizing these grant recipients for the work they are doing to impact our communities. This presentation will take place during our regularly scheduled Club meeting, which will be held at the Alabama Nature Center, located at 3050 Lanark Road in Millbrook.

Rotary is a global organization of over 1.2 million members with a focus of eradicating polio. Locally, our focus is in bettering our community through acts of service, partnering with local organizations such as those named above, and being the best citizens we can be here in our communities.
