The Prattauga Art Guild’s annual “Art with a Heart” soup event fundraiser for the Autauga Interfaith Care Center Food Bank will be held on Saturday, February 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This event is especially important this time of year to replenish the shelves after the holidays. All proceeds from this event go directly to the AICC.
The Art With A Heart event will feature soups from local restaurants and handmade bowls by local artists and members of the community. For a donation of $15 or more, you will get a cup of soup from one of our local participating restaurants and a handcrafted bowl by one of our many talented artists.
This fun event also will feature a Soup Cook-Off with teams and individuals competing with their homemade soups for the Golden Bowl, Silver Ladle, and People’s Choice awards and for bragging rights for 2024. For a donation of $5 for an individual or $10 for a team, you can register to be a part of this fun competition. All proceeds go to the AICC.
The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Prattville Creative Arts Center. Admission is free, but donations of non-perishable food items for the AICC food bank are appreciated.
While you are tasting soups, you can enjoy an exhibit of artwork by local artists, representing a variety of artistic styles. There are original paintings, clay pieces, photography, and more that will be on display, some are available for sale.
The Prattville Creative Arts Center and Gallery is located at 342 South Chestnut Street in historic Downtown Prattville and is a short walk from a variety of shops and the beautiful Autauga Creek Walk and gardens.
