Jacquelyn Tomlinson emerges as the most experienced and qualified candidate for the position of Circuit Judge Place 4 in the 19th Circuit, bringing a rich background in law and an unwavering commitment to justice that sets her apart.

Jacquelyn commenced her journey into the legal field by earning her undergraduate degree from Florida State University, followed by obtaining her law degree from Jones School of Law.

Admitted to the bar in 2009, she has dedicated her career primarily to domestic relations, family law, and juvenile cases, showcasing a profound commitment to safeguarding the rights of those who cannot protect themselves. Her role as a guardian ad litem exemplifies her dedication to the vulnerable, making her a compassionate advocate within the legal arena.

Jacquelyn’s legal expertise extends to her roles as a member of the Alabama State Bar and a registered mediator for Domestic Relations and Civil cases. Her extensive training in mediating cases involving domestic violence underscores her commitment to addressing complex issues with sensitivity and understanding. As a partner in Delk & Tomlinson, she practices throughout the state of Alabama, concentrating her efforts in the 19th Circuit and Montgomery.

Beyond her legal practice, Jacquelyn has left an indelible mark on various legal organizations and community service endeavors. Her appointment as a board member for the Alabama State Bar family law section and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of the River Region showcases her leadership and dedication to enhancing the legal system. Jacquelyn’s involvement in organizations such as the Inns of Court, the Junior League of Montgomery, Rotary International, and the ARC of Alabama reflects her commitment to community service and a desire to make a positive impact beyond the courtroom.

Jacquelyn and her husband Jared, a Special Agent Senior for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, have chosen to build their careers, family, and home in the Redland Community in Wetumpka. This decision is rooted in the overwhelming community aspect and hospitality that drew them to the area. They are proud members of Holy Spirit Parish in Montgomery, further emphasizing their commitment to community engagement and a shared sense of belonging.

With an unwavering commitment to justice and a thoughtful, fair, and respectful approach, Jacquelyn Tomlinson is prepared to bring servant leadership to the bench as a Circuit Judge.
