On June 13th The Wetumpka Parks and Recreation department unveiled its new addition at the Wetumpka Sports Complex with a brand new Splash Pad that’s FREE and open to the public. This state of the art splash pad is a good way to cool down from the heat, and to keep everyone entertained for hours. The splash pad is located at 200 Lancaster Street, next to the football stadium. The splash pad has been a work in progress with new additions that include chairs with umbrellas and small picnic tables. There will be cabanas that will be arriving soon to offer more shade. T-shirts and snacks are for sale in the office as well. You also can reserve a private party rental of the splash pad for a small reservation fee. The splash pad is open daily but closed on Mondays for maintenance. Please come out to this beautiful splash pad in Wetumpka and enjoy some water fun!
Splash Pad park rules are listed on the outside of the entrance for all parents to read and understand. A couple of new rules have been added which includes “No adult will be permitted without children.” Every adult must sign in before your able to go to the splash pad with your child. Also, due to safety concerns, you have to make sure there is an adult for every six kids that arrives to the splash pad. If you know you will have a bus full of children coming to the splash pad, please call before you come, so they can be prepared for your arrival.

Monday- CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE
Tuesday- 10:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.
Wednesday- 10:00 – 6:00 P.M.
Thursday- 10:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.
Friday- 10:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.
Saturday- 10:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.
Sunday- 1:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.
The splash pad is FREE and OPEN to the public throughout the summer. Starting on August 8th, the splash pad will only be open on weekends until Labor Day. It will be closed from September 4th and reopen Spring of 2024.
The splash pad will be closed to the public on the following dates and times for reserved private parties:
July 22nd (10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.)
August 26th (10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.)
