Onsite Registration Information for 40th Alabama State Games

BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA – We are only days away from the 40th Anniversary Alabama State Games and time is running out to register online. ONLINE REGISTRATION for DISC GOLF and WRESTLING closes JUNE 8 at MIDNIGHT. Go to ALAGAMES.com to register to be eligible for the June 9 scholarship drawing at the State Farm Athlete Leadership Summit and the Opening Ceremony.

In a return to Birmingham and Jefferson County, the 40th Anniversary Alabama State Games brought 21 sports and positioned them at venues throughout the local area. The second-oldest State Games program in the United States, the Alabama State Games hangs its hat on a commitment to academic excellence by awarding more than $335,000 in academic scholarships since the early 90s. For the 40th Anniversary Alabama State Games, an additional $20,000 is to be awarded June 9th to 17 athletes who have registered to compete in the Alabama State Games and attend the State Farm Athlete Leadership Summit and/or the Opening Ceremony.

No worries, we have you covered through the Alabama State Games Television Network. Beginning at 7 p.m., the 40th Anniversary Alabama State Games Opening Ceremony will be telecast live statewide across the Alabama State Games Television Network (comprised of WBRC (Birmingham), WAFF (Huntsville), WSFA (Montgomery), WALA (Mobile), WTVY (Dothan).
