PAHS Pet of the Week: Meet Tank! Well-Behaved and Great on a Leash

FROM PRATTVILLE AUTAUGA HUMANE SHELTER

Tank is a 6-year-old German Shepherd/Alaskan Malamute mix who has already been neutered.  He is an owner turn in because his owner could no longer care for him.  Tank has a gorgeous black and brown coat; and he weighs 104 pounds.  This very handsome fellow is very well behaved and great on a leash.  Tank is not onl

y leash trained; he is also house trained; and knows some basic commands like sit, shake, down, etc. He loves his toys, balls in particular, nice car rides, treats, and belly rubs!  Tank’s moderate activity level makes him a great choice for a family with children and other dogs; but if you have another dog we would suggest a “meet and greet” with your dog before Tank’s adoption.  He loves people and attention.  In fact, Tank is just one big Teddy Bear who is ready to be back in a great home with his very own family.

Dog/puppy adoption fees are $75 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $35 (as long as funds are available). Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
