Downtown Prattville was once again a hotspot for its residents and guests Tuesday evening, as the city hosted their fourth and final Creekwalk Concert of the year right beside the Millpond dam.

The area was packed and buzzing with anticipation, as this event is a short but sweet offering for music lovers each June and July. Spectators lined the streets and started setting up seats early, and by the time the concert began, a huge crowd was ready to enjoy some music after a hot day.

“This event is awesome because it brings everybody downtown. The downtown area of Prattville is one of the greatest treasures a town can have – a functioning, vibrant and historic downtown,” said Will Barrett, who is the Chair of Prattville’s Tourism Committee.

The Creekwalk Concerts are expected to return next year, with the first event of the series likely to start next June.
