After the official start of the meeting, Superintendent Tim Tidmore addressed the crowd of parents and school staff, calling student Taylor Gloystein to come forward to the front of the room and letting the group know how exciting it is when the board gets to recognize students.
“This is probably one of the best kinds of board meetings we get to have because we’re recognizing lots of students for their accomplishments,” Tidmore said. “Taylor, who is from Prattville High School, is our National Merit finalist. She’s been awarded the National Merit Raytheon Scholarship.”
