An off-duty Lowndes County Deputy is in the Autauga Metro Jail after being arrested by State Troopers for DUI overnight.
That may not be the end of his charges, however, according to Autauga County Sheriff Joe Sedinger.
His deputies are also investigating other potential crimes, and more charges could be coming. We are waiting on an update for more information.
What is known is that Michael J. Lewis, 21, of Deatsville is being held on a $1,000 bond. He was booked into the Autauga Metro Jail just after midnight last night.
We are awaiting more information from Sheriff Sedinger, and will update this article when possible.
