EDITOR’S NOTE: This is a follow up to a story we ran a couple of weeks ago about “The Little Witch” of Eclectic. So many of you responded and liked that article, an requested an address so you could make a visit on Halloween night as she hands out candy. This past week, the Little Witch Who Waits (Jaime)was asked to stop by the Eclectic Pharmacy. She had one prescription due, so she was not surprised when Trish Payne let her know it was ready for pickup. Trish and the other ladies had something extra planned for the Little Witch.
Walking in with Mama, she went over to say hello to Trish, whom she likes very much. She also enjoys seeing the other ladies and Mr. Phil, too. She looked for Vickie Watkins. It was Vickie’s day off. The surprise waiting for the Little Witch, although handed to her by Trish, was brought in by Vickie.
Trish handed over a huge white bag full of Trick or Treat candies! Having read the story of the Little Witch and hearing how popular it was with other readers, Vickie decided the Little Witch might need a helping hand with the treats. The Little Witch went back to the pharmacy to see Vickie and tell her thank you for her kind and generous thoughts. Everyone could not be in the pictures, but Trish, Natalie Sullivan and Jennifer Rowe came out to be in a picture with one of their favorite people in Eclectic.
Vickie Watkins insisted the candy was from everyone. The Little Witch asked me to thank them in our newspaper. Thank you, Trish Payne, Vickie Watkins, Jennifer Rowe, Natalie Sullivan, Teresa Lett, Sonya Arnett, Leah Findley, and Phil Vaughn, for making this an incredibly special Halloween for the Little Witch Who Waits.
She is so excited and hopes to make some new friends on Halloween night!
