MILLBROOK MIDDLE SCHOOL MULTI-NEEDS FIELD TRIP
Millbrook Middle School Multi-Needs students from Mrs. Perry and Mrs. Gray’s classes took a field trip to Penton Farms Pumpkin Patch on Wednesday, October. 27, 2021. There was a total of 19 students and eight employees including the Principal of Millbrook Middle School, Sean Kreauter.
The children enjoyed learning how to milk a cow, chickens lay their eggs and made their way through the corn maze. They also were able to feed and pet the goats and cows. The students enjoyed playing on the playground as well.
“We had a wonderful time at Penton Farms. The students, teachers, and parents enjoyed the fresh air and each student was able to pick out a pumpkin to take home and decorate,” said Principal Kreauter.
Kreauter is the Principal for 5th thru 8th grade students. This is his second year as Principal, and he was an Assistant Principal for four years prior.
“I would like to personally thank all the parents that came on the field trip. We appreciate all the support,” said Kreauter. He really enjoys the interactions with all of his students at his school and supports them in everything they do.
The Millbrook Middle School hosted the Millbrook Police Department’s Jr. Police Academy camp for two weeks over the summer. Principal Kreauter graciously volunteered to “ride the lightening” during a taser demonstration for the students who participated.
Lieutenant Stephen Youngblood tased Kreauter in front of the recruitment class. Millbrook Middle School would like to thank Lt. Youngblood and SRO Godwin for the hard work they did over the summer with the students that volunteered for the Jr. Police Academy.
