TROY POST — A two-vehicle traffic crash at approximately 5:40 a.m. Monday, Sept. 20, has claimed the life of a Montgomery County man and woman. Daniel Honoria Garcia Ramirez, 33, and Lucia Santis Diaz, 27, both of Montgomery, were fatally injured when the 2003 Toyota Camry driven by Ramirez collided with a 2019 Kia Optima driven by Michael Calixto, 38, of Georgiana.
Ramirez and Diaz were pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on U.S. 331 near the 64 mile marker, approximately eight miles north of Luverne city limits. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
