Our featured pet this week is Champ—really a cutie!
Champ is a 3-month-old male Shepherd/Basset Hound mix. He is brown with some black on his muzzle; he is a very handsome pup! We just love his adorable ears! Champ will be a medium sized adult dog who will weigh between 30-60 pounds. This is a nice, calm young fellow who was very well behaved when his pictures were being made. Champ is active and playful too. He would be a wonderful addition to a family with other dogs and children or he would be equally great as an only pup. Some adopter is going to be so happy with Champ as a new family member.
Our adoption fee is $120.00 for dogs and $50.00 for cats. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative. The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville. Our regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm. Adoptions are by appointment only at this time.
