PAHS Pet of the Week: Meet Emma; Senior Girl has been Declawed, Should be Indoors

FROM PRATTVILLE AUTAUGA HUMANE SHELTER

Our featured pet this week is a special kitty named Emma.

Emma is a senior girl who is 8-years-old.  She is spayed and declawed (front only). “Special Needs” has been indicated on her bio because she should be an indoor cat only since she has been declawed.  She has beautiful colors of brown, orange, and white.  Emma is a grumpy cat who likes to lay around and look out the window.  We believe she would do well in a very quiet home with no children.   Emma is also a sweet girl who is trying to process the life changes of being in a new and unknown place.  She is calm and quiet; and she just needs a second chance at a new life!

Our adoption fee is $120.00 for dogs and $50.00 for cats.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.  Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.   The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville.  Our regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm except for one day each month that is reserved for staff training.  That date will be announced later in the month.  For more information about our shelter, please call 358-2882, find us on Facebook at Prattville/Autauga Humane Society, email autaugahumane@yahoo.com., or visit our website at www.prattvilleautaugahumane.org.

Thank you for your help in finding homes for these precious pets.

Sincerely,

Ara Horn
