The Elmore County Commission wants to introduce their Anti-Litter Critters as named by the Elmore County Board of Education’s elementary students. Now that names have been chosen for the critters, you can expect to see them on the county roads soon to serve as a reminder to dispose of litter properly.
The Commission is currently establishing an anti-litter committee for the county. If you would be interested in serving on that committee, please email us at editorsarah@yahoo.com. We will forward names to the proper officials.
The hope of the commission is to establish regular clean up days in multiple locations across the county. That would require a committee made up of individuals in these locations to orchestrate and plan.
