PAHS Pet of the Week: Thunder! Gorgeous with Soulful Eyes, Waiting for a Home

PAHS Pet of the Week: Meet Thunder!

Our featured pet this week is Thunder.  He really is a very super dog.  We hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

Thunder is a 2-year-old male Black Lab who has already been neutered.  He came to PAHS as a stray and his owner never came looking for him.  Thunder is solid black except for a tiny bit of white on his chest.  He currently weighs 53 pounds so he is considered to be a medium sized adult dog.  Since Thunder is a stray we are still learning about him.  We know he is a very nice looking fellow and he has gorgeous, soulful, brown eyes.  Thunder gets along well with everyone at the shelter.  He would be wonderful in a home with children and other dogs.  Thunder is one of the calmest, most laid back, guys that you could ever meet.  He is super well behaved–very quiet and obedient.  Everyone who meets Thunder just loves him.  You need to come out and meet this gentle fellow and ask yourself if you could find a nicer and more handsome dog anywhere.  Thunder is one of the best all around dogs we have seen in a while!  He is handsome, well behaved, willing to please, loving, and available!  Don’t miss out on your chance to adopt a wonderful new friend.

Our adoption fee for dogs is $120.00 and is $50.00 for cats.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.  Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.   The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville and regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm.

We will be closed for the Christmas holidays on Thursday & Friday, December 24th & 25th.  We will be closed for New Years on Thursday & Friday, December 31st & January 1st.   For more information about our shelter, please call 358-2882, find us on Facebook at Prattville/Autauga Humane Society, email autaugahumane@yahoo.com., or visit our website at www.prattvilleautaugahumane.org.

Our shelter is very grateful for your help in finding homes for these very special pets.

Sincerely,

Ara Horn
