2nd Annual Merry Makers Holiday Event Coming to Prattville Pickers

Coming Nov. 14 to Prattville Pickers – Do you want a unique buying experience this Christmas season as well as a unique gift for that special someone? Come enjoy live music! Live Christmas Trees on Sale beginning at 8 a.m. Nov. 27 at St. Michael and All Angels’ Episcopal Church in Millbrook

This year with COVID-19, the church had to cancel their primary fundraiser for the year, which is the very popular AngelFest arts and crafts event, with a giant bake sale. We are currently selling sponsorships/trees for the The Annual Autauga Creek Christmas Tree Trail. The trees will be lit on Thursday December 3rd and stay lit until Sunday January 3rd. This is a fundraiser for the Family Support Center and a great way to showcase your business throughout the month of December.

Enjoy the beauty of Historic Downtown Prattville for the month of December by taking a stroll along the Creekwalk and enjoying all of the beautifully decorated trees sponsored by local businesses and organizations.

Annual Charity Bus Ride

One More at the River

Join us this year for Rockin’ Robyn’s annual charity bus ride!!! Pick up and drop off will be at One More on the River. We will be going to Big Star Tavern, Carl’s Country, and the Thirsty Turtle. Seats are $25 each, you can bring a cooler, and ALL proceeds go to help needy children in the area for Christmas. Must be at least 21 to participate.

Prattville Christmas Variety Show

What do Carol Burnett, Donny and Marie and Prattville have in common? They all have talent and variety shows! The City of Prattville is excited to add a new event to our Christmas line-up—a Christmas variety show! The show will feature local and regional talent and will have a Christmas theme.

This show will be fun for the entire family with songs, dance, skits and more, showcasing local performers. The event will be held at the Doster Community Center in Prattville on Friday, December 11, at 7:00 p.m. Mark your calendar because you do not want to miss this fun-filled event. The show will be free, but reservations are required in order to allow for social distancing.

Do you sing or dance? Are you a musician or a magician? You might be just the person we are looking for. We still have a few spots open and would love to see what you can do. Eclectic’s Holiday Whobilation will be a great time for everyone whether you are a Grinch or a Cindy Lou Who! Come on out and check out the vendors from 10 am – 6 pm. We will have all kinds of vendors with an assortment of wares from jewelry and crafts to baked goods and clothing!

And stick around for the parade at 6 pm. Let’s see who has the Grinch-iest float and who is a real Martha May Whovier and goes all out with their lighting! Be sure to drive around town and check out the decorations as there will be a home and business decorating contest as well! We hope to see you in Eclectic on December 12th for our Holiday Whobilation!
