This week is National Veterinary Technician Week and all of us who love our pets need to thank all the Technicians and Assistants who work in Veterinary Clinics for their skills, love and dedication to helping our pets. Veterinary technicians are critical to the day-to-day function of veterinary practices and play vital roles in preserving animal health and welfare. Please honor their commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care for all animals.
ANNUAL MEETING AT WETUMPKA CIVIC CENTER
Tuesday, 20 October at 6 p.m. is our Humane Society’s Annual Meeting at the Wetumpka Civic Center, 410 S. Main St, Wetumpka, AL 36092. We will be reviewing our accomplishments in the past year and looking ahead to 2021. Hope to see you there!

One last reminder for our supporters who work for the Alabama State Government and want to donate financially, the 2020 State Combined Campaign (SCC) is underway and our Agency Code is 106803. The SCC is critical to Alabama non-profits and helps make donating to deserving charities easy either one time or via monthly payroll deduction. We want to thank all who so generously donate to help not only our shelter, but non-profit agencies everywhere.
