Pet of the Week – Dakota
Dakota is a one-year old female terrier mix, all of 21 lbs, who was sadly abandoned by her former owner. She can be a bit shy at first but warms up quickly and is very loving and gentle. Dakota is good with dogs and cats and we think would be great with children as well. No idea why this sweetie has been with us for almost two months now as she will be a wonderful addition to many a family.
Our adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
If you are interested in meeting Dakota or any of our pets, please first email us at hselco@bellsouth.net for our Adoption Application. Once that is cleared, we will coordinate with you to set up an appointment between 10-4, Mon-Fri & 9-3, Sat. We are not doing walk-in adoptions at this time.
